As a writer spanning multiple genres, she is probably best known for her fun series of Campervan Bushman mysteries, featuring young Aussie, Scott Chevalier as a campervan-surfing sleuth with a hint of the Crocodile Dundee about him. Book 2 in the series, Deathbed of Roses, was a finalist in the Chanticleer International Book Awards in 2016.

Alannah has also published travel tales - including journeys to her Australian birthplace - as well as fantasy adventures (currently under review), short stories and more. Her travel memoir, Up a Creek Down Under, was a semi-finalist in the Chanticleer International Book Awards in 2019.
